God made the earth round as a ball and then stretched it out as you would stretch the dough. It was perfectly flat but it was earth only and no water at all.

So god asked the Arici if he likes his creation.
"Yes, he answered, too bad that people, cattles and all other creatures can't live on it because is no water."

God asked for help and the Arici, quickly went undergtound and raised the hills and mountains and made rivers, lakes and springs. In exchange for this, god rewarded him with spikes to be protected from all the other beasts.,
